A Drop of Water

Like a drop of water
That believes it is just that
One drop of water
Finally remembered it was a river
And saw the face of the river
In all its fellow drops
And then remembered
The Whole river
That then remembered
It was also the Whole ocean
So it became identified with the ocean
A drop of water no longer
But one with the ocean
In its complete identification with the sea
It became what all must be
To understand that single drop of water in the ocean
Only then to know the ocean in a single drop of water
